February 10, 2019 will be the first-ever World Pulses Day, a global event to celebrate pulses worldwide and continue the important gains made with 2016 International Year of Pulses. As more and more research shows the health benefits of eating a predominantly plant-based diet, countries are starting to change their recommendations on what people should eat.
